The Max Temp's for a Few Things

Summer is here more or less in PA. It is hot as hell outside (92F / 33C out today , and my temps have gone up a lot since a few weeks ago when it was much cooler. [Note: I don't have AC running yet due to the outrageous energy bill cost]

I did some searching on this forum and on google, but was not able to get comprehensive results, so I'm going to ask it right now...

What are the max safe temps to use for these things (shown in Everest, but matches what BIOS says more or less). Note: Nothing is OC'd and probably won't be for some time.

1. C2D E6600
[Currently, this is around 46C-ish when gaming]

2. Asus P5B Deluxe (NOT wifi version) (also: would Everest/mobo be displaying the Northbridge temp, then?)
[Currently, this is around 47C-ish when gaming]

3. 8800GTX 'GPU Ambient'
[Currently, this is around 63C-ish when gaming]

4. 8800GTX 'GPU Diode'
[Currently, this is around 75C-ish when gaming]

5. 8800GTX 'GPU'
[Currently, this is around 73C-ish when gaming]

6. Various WD Hard Drives including a Raptor X 150GB
[Currently, these are around 40C to 45C]

(All temps are measured by Everest, but should match the ones displayed by BIOS).

So what are the max safe temps for these?
(Also, can somebody explain the GPU, GPU Diode, and GPU Ambient displays for me?)

I'd say all your temps seem fine and have room to get hotter before you have problems. My NB (Seems like your MOBO reading) has been 50+ since I've gotten it so your temps are nice for the heat. I had to zip tie a fan off my case / wires / HSF to get it under 60c...
 
Hey thanks for the response. Is there any room for OC'ing my GTX (in the future)?

If so, what is the limit/highest possible safe temp?
