The latest version of vista won't install for me.

I'm running an a64 3000+ on an asrock mobo, and whenever I install from windows and restart, it freezes at the windows load screen, also booting from the CD is doing the same thing. Any ideas?

nope, but you aren't missing a whole lot, based on your system specs, it would run so dog slow you would be re-installing XP really quick

Previous versions ran fine...and I'd imagine that they were a bit more clunky.

my specs:
venice 3200+
1gb Corsair 400MHZDDR
6800GS
WD Raptor

even for me.. vista pauses on the aurora-ish colored loading screen for around 5-10 minutes

P.S. If it doesnt start after 10 minutes... just wait longer

I let it sit for way over 30 minutes.
