I recently ordered the Koss SB-45 headset from one of the few online stores that supplied it in the UK (I personally couldnt find many that did). They had 4 in stock according to their website and things were looking good. I ordered them and got an email later at work that said they have been dispatched.
I get home and it seems my grandma left me a message (she pops round sometimes to drop off muffins or tidy something up). It said that she "got a call from the headphone place, they said that they had run out of my headphones but they had a better updated version for the same cost. I said that would be OK"
This got me pretty mad, since I now have no idea what headphones I'm getting and they have already been dispatched. I will ring them again tomorrow morning (rang them late with no reply), to ask what I am getting, but I have a few questions (that maybe someone like spaceman can answer
). On their site they also have koss sb-40s (more expensive) and koss sb-49s (less expensive). While neither of these are the same price, I can only assume it was one of these if they mentioned an "updated version" thats "better".
Basically I'd just like to know:
a) If it is one of the sb40s or sb49s, are these as good or better than the 45s?
b) Is there another headset they could be refering to? Like an sb45x or something? The website is www.iheadphones.co.uk
If its a different headset entirely, or the 40s and 49s arent as good, I'm gonna be seriously pissed.

EDIT: I see that the koss sb45 and 40s are recommended in the sticky, but would they refer to the 40s as updated versions of the 45? :S
