Okay when I was looking for a PSU for my i7 rig, one of my main queries was would a hx620 power my setup?

Here is my rig:

ABRAXUS
i7 920 + Asus P6T
3Gb Corsair Dominator C8 RAM
Coolermaster V8
XFX GTX285 Black Edition
2x Dell 2408wfp
Z5500's + Asus Xonar D2X
WD 150Gb Velociraptor + 2x 1Tb HDD
Corsair HX620
4x Nexus Real Silent Case Fans

So thats i7920 cpu and cooler, 3 hard drives, GTX285 graphics card, Soundcard, Tv Card, 4 case fans, DVD Drive, USB Keyboard and Mouse.

The answer is that yes, it powers all of this with absolutely zero trouble, even under Crysis on full settings and when I am rendering video.

Just thought I'd share that 1, hope it helps someone :)

I was one of the first to be sent the HX520 & HX620 back when they first came out, at that time we couldn't find anything (PC) that the HX620 couldn't power!

Actually I'm pretty sure the Corsair HX520 could power it, however that would be pushing it well beyond a reasonable load level, so your HX620 is an ideal choice!

Best Wishes,
Dave:)

yes it'll do it. the 620HX is one of the best built psu's out there. thats why i bought one;)
