as many of you remember(or may not)...the p.o.s. computer that brought me to these forums, AND folding, had many problems. i fixed it up, oc'ed it, and continiued to fold. i built a new computer, and when i moved...the first one went with my ex, and sat in her storage room(save the bullets please).


ANYHOW, TO THE POINT... i went to retrieve it, as now i have means to get it folding again, and IT IS GONE! the lock on the door had been cut, and the ONLY things taken was that boxen, and a 13"b+w tv.

so, after four years of resurecting an aopen ax63 pro, and knowing that box inside and out... all for not. gone. terrible.

i sit now at my new rig, wishing i had that p.o.s. to tinker with. I now ask for my brethren to assist me. i will be changing my post in the parts swap thread. i will need a m/b, and a processor, everything else i am almost certain i have in my parts collection.

i know, too long of a post, but get over it, and let me know if you can help me out. THANKS [H]!
 
On the up side maybe whoever stole it will plug it in and not realize that it has FAH on it and continue to fold AND eat his power bill!! I feel for your loss tho. Every time one of my boxen goes down it feels like a bit of my soul goes with it after the time, energy, and money I have put into everything I build.

 
Kinda makes me wanna upgrade in pure spite. :mad: "Oh yeah, you thought you were the best boxen? Well I can make another boxen better than YOU!!!"

Yep. Yelling at my boxen and holding conversations on how to better fold is probably not healthy. But I feel better. :D
 
wow, that really bites. let's hope that box magically gets set to Big WUs and draws the electricity out of the fool who stole it...what an asshole..
 
i was hella pissed, but it made me go through all my parts, and all i really need is a slot 1 m/b, and a stick of sdram. thanks to all concerned.

i'm concerned, but unforunately lack both the autonomy and the funds to posess a parts bucket from which i could pull hardware to help you :(
