I thought that it would nice to have a [H] Dropbox referral thread. If you are not familiar, Dropbox is software that syncs your files online and across your computers. It keeps unlimited revisions and is accessible anywhere as well via the web interface.

Please post your referral link and keep it updated with how many referrals you have left. When you hit your limit, (8 gigs) please remove your link so the next person can get some referral credit. I will keep this post updated with the list of upcoming users links. Please let me know when you reach your referral cap.

UPDATE: For reference you can get up to 8GB of free space through the referral program and you get 256mb per referral. If your on a free account @ 2GB your limit would be when you reach 10GB of space on your dropbox.

I'm thinking this might be best served asking a Mod to move this to the "Free Stuff" subforum in [H]otDeals since that's where almost all referral or invite type deals are, at least based on my experience.
 
Dropbox is great! Plus, both parties get some extra space free with these referrals. Not a bad deal!

I hear selective sync is in the works so I might even jump on one of the paid plans when they get it out of beta. Never hurts to have an extra copy of your important stuff just in case!

Agreed! Not sure who to contact though. For now it can stay here and i'm sure one will come by at some point.
 
odoe, Major Domo, etc... when you open a subforum, the Mod(s) of that particular subforum will be listed on the bottom right side of the main subforum page. odoe "runs" this one so, can't hurt to fire off a PM to him and ask to move it.
