In the guide, it was recommended that two Hitatchi drives be used in RAID 0. I thought we had put the RAID 0 myth to rest? Personally, my Raptor II drive performs better than your average RAID 0 array and with TCQ it feels a lot more responsive.

I just think that the risk is not worth it.

I agree with you 100%. When I read that part of the guide it sort of pissed me off because it has been proven again and again that Raid-0 does little to nothing for games. That was probably the only thing I really didn't like about the guide, the rest was pretty good. I just hope this doesn't start another wave of people who are going to convince themselves that Raid-0 is needed for a gaming machine.
