They are better in terms of pairing, although I won't give it any award when it comes to pure acoustical performance. Companies such Shure and Westone couldn't deliver when it comes to the chipset end but soundly trump Apple in acoustics.

Yeah, I'll definitely give you that. Apple has always had issues with sound quality on that earphones. Buying Beats did not improve things. I've heard good things about the Jabra 65t (I think that's the one) as well.

Greedy ways Apple made 1 Trillion.... By giving it all away? By giving away all their trade secrets?

Just like every other company that is successful, right?

Or is this news here because it wasn't Samsung?

This site is so shitty sometimes, ever since the forums members took over...

Some of the complaints could be true. However, I've seen how some people treat cables. I scold my kids (and sometimes my wife) when they grab a cable and yank. They have a device plugged in, yet continue to move the phone/tablet around without regard for the cable. As a result, the cable fails. I've got a deal with Anker - one cable fails, I order 3 more.

Never cared for Apple even growing up as a kid using various models of their computers in grade, middle, and high school almost exclusively. I don't think I even touched an actual PC until I was a teenager (2 button mice were unicorns heh). I never bought an iPod, iPad, iPhone, etc. either. Glad to part of the minority that hasn't given Apple money.

I just watched an unboxing of one of those the other day. 18 years old and still sealed.

I've been fascinated with computers for most of my life, first played with an Atari 800 back in the early 80's in school, then used to play games on a few of my friends' computers, an Amiga 1000, Commodore 64, Amstrad, and an Acorn Archimedes in the mid 80's.
My father bought our first PC for the home, an IBM PS/2 Model 30 in 1990 and had fun with that, then he bought a 486 in 1992 and I bought an Amiga 3000 the same year.

I do have a few Apple products now, an iPhone SE, 3 Apple TV's, and a 2007 and 2014 MacBook Pro's (got both a couple of years ago, the 2007 was given to me and the 2014 was really cheap, $100, so I bought it)

I was anti-Apple for a long time, mostly because of the high-priced proprietary hardware and elitist attitude that much of their user base seemed to have (funny how that's changed).

Several years ago, I was gifted an iPod Nano. Then, eventually an iPod Touch. Pretty neat products for their time. Now the iPhone has completely replaced the iPod Touch, and work provides me with one for free so of course I'm going to use it. I actually had the X, but ended up going back to the 8 Plus which has been an awesome phone just as my 7 Plus, 6 and 5 were.

I still think a lot of their products are a bit lofty in price and I definitely do not blindly support whatever they do - heck, I don't even purchase their products and voiced some of my complaints earlier. But heaven forbid you recognize what they do well and try to take some sort of middle ground. Personally I think that's a much more reasonable position than the blind hate and name calling that fills most of these threads.

The best defense against negative press and naysayers is a company’s successes which Apple has them in spades. The louder the scream, the more you smile to yourself knowing what you're doing is the right way. It is how you shut people up.

Congratulations to Apple on achieving the 1 trillion dollar valuation.

Apple preys on the ignorant and capitalizes on the addicted. Their cultish ecosystem only further perpetuates this.

Aside from the overpriced products I have never been interested in what they offer to consumers because I dont buy into the idea of someone else telling me how to use what I purchase.

I like Apple products and you can get them at very reasonable prices on ebay.

Apple used to be great for us in the education market. At my old school jobs where I served as a netadmin or it director, they would throw us major discounts. Nowadays....I stick with Microsoft and Google based products.

I would take that keyboard over the hot garbage of an excuse they are calling a "keyboard" on their current laptop offerings.
