Well, today I finally had the various components tested by a friend. Here is the offical death count straight from IM.
* AlGuard: should have seen PCI4 melt when I put a new Power supply on the board
* Str8Dog: no shit
* Str8Dog: 8(
* AlGuard: no shit
* AlGuard: vid is good
* AlGuard: sound is good
* AlGuard: drives are good
* AlGuard: board is toast
* AlGuard: memory is toast
* AlGuard: ps is toast
* Str8Dog: shit
* Str8Dog: proc?
* AlGuard: look ok
* AlGuard: so far
* AlGuard: bitch was smokin'
* Str8Dog: lol
* Str8Dog: man that sucks
* Str8Dog: but at least not a total lost
* AlGuard: nope, video card just needs a sink
* AlGuard: didn't test the lights, figure they are good to go
* Str8Dog: I still have the original sink some where
* AlGuard: cool
* AlGuard: had to move you to the front of the list today, just had to know
* Str8Dog: heh
* Str8Dog: man thanks I apreciate it
* AlGuard: no prob, I'll pull the board and put everything else in the case
* AlGuard: unless you want the board for a momento
* Str8Dog: sure Ill make a clock or some thign
* AlGuard: there ya go
* Str8Dog: so nForce3 250/Athlon 64 here I come...
* AlGuard: oh yeah
I now need a new PSU. Can anyone suggest a PSU ~ 400watt. But with one special thing. I don't want a PSU with 500 wires hanging out of it. I would prefer a PSU with sockets that I can connect the cables I am going to use to it. Anyone know of such a beast?
