A friend of my wifes from church was diagnosed with cancer about 8 months ago. She had surgery and was undergoing radiation therapy and struggling with it. She went back for a checkup a week ago and the cancer has returned; however, now it is attached to her liver, additional lymph nodes, and lower GI tract.

I was told that she has mostly given up now because she did so bad with the radiation that she doesn't feel she has the strength to go through another round of surgery and then chemo.

Every story like this one is why we fold.

When we are done with him, we will fight against another of his brothers.
 
I hear you loud and clear, the boss's wife is going to start her third bout with the radiation in a week or so, what delayed it was she had to bury her father who just died of cancer.

I think the reasons for folding are pretty obvious...

I'm sorry to hear about that Hoosierdad. A couple of months ago, one of my friends tried to get me to talk her out of continuing Chemo because she thought she couldn't take it anymore, so I know how down people can feel during treatments. The disease is bad and the treatments are bad. We need to find the real cure for this beast. Fold on!
