Can someone tell me the difference between the Corsair XMS Platinum and the non-Platinum? I bought two stick of the Black last year, and it was cheaper than the platinum. Well now I am looking at buying a 512MB stick and the platinum is less expensive, does that mean the black ones are better now?
 
I think the color of the heatspreaders in the only difference.
 
OH you have got to be kidding me. (Though I am starting to think the same thing, cause all the specs I find appear the same).
 
And you can bet your ass, they aren't made of real platinum either ;)
