For anybody that doesn't like lining up ends for crimping your own cables...I use these exclusively now. If you shop around or buy in bulk the price difference isn't that much, but SO worth it.

Just got some of these not long ago and they are amazing!

You are either:
1. Weak (doubtful because a kid can work these tools)
2. Have beginnings of arthritis (plausible)
3. Have crap tools (most likely)

I have seen some amazing crimping tools. Some designed so well you simply insert plug, insert wires, squeeze, done. I'm betting you are using cheap tools. Better tools don't require enough pressure to make your hands hurt.

I kind of had the same thought. I have sat for hours on end making cables and haven't had it be that painful.

First freaking job I ever took, back in the 90's, after working the help desk, was working in the data center, doing cable runs, bad times, good experience. ^_^

Gotta start somewhere I guess.

And yes, it looked nice & neat until the first cable went bad...
