Ok, so I'll let you in on a little bit of my life. I'm 28 (will be 29 on the 28th! [if anyone wants to send me another 8800gtx.. i won't say anything to my wife]) I'm a network engineer that was in the Air Force for 4 years stationed out of phoenix living in NJ now. I started folding i believe a week ago and whenever I wake up now (0530 or 5:30 am for the non military) i check and see how many steps I've gone up in the points ranking. 35 ranks a day here, 225 when I first started...

I think the Folders Anonymous meetings are the first Tuesday of every week...

Get your wife involved in the addiction early, this way she won't notice when you start sneaking quads in. :D

Happy Birthday (a little early)! Let me know if you find anyone giving out 8800 cards for presents (well besides Ted) as I'll be well..... ALOT older than 29 on the 29th.

Turned in my first WU all of 2 weeks ago. Planned to build a nehalem system next year but.......... Must get more PPD now! Next goal is to see my name on the top 1000 list for the [H]orde. It won't be long. 140k points is way too easily attainable these days.
 
should be doable in less than a month with a 8800 series card

I'm 23 (Will be 24 in August) Married for about 1.5 years. Currently working Help Desk, studying for CCNA, reading up on Linux, and out of left field just beginning to learn Javascript.

I enjoy long walks on the beach, and being horrendous at folding. I will be turning on my P4 machine at home, and Dualcore AMD laptop tonight to start folding again. My E72 or E21 + 4850 rig will be built soon, and folding as well.

The wife knows I fold, but she doesn't quite grasp the big picture of it. Her grandfather died of cancer, so she has an idea. But it hasn't clicked for her yet.
 
It is certainly a bug. I wake up every morning (not nearly as early as you) and check my points. I don't move up as many every day as you do (early on yes, not so now). I check my attack/threat list and look to see who I can run over for the day. It gives me some sick satisfaction to run over at least one per day. On those days when I don't get to run over anyone I get the itch to tweak something to make my systems more productive.

 
I have the bug and I'm proud of this :)

No 12 steps program is as rewarding than folding !
