I figure we may as well just merge these. So post here about how said MMO stole your friends, screwed your GF, made you gain 100 lbs. Tewk yer jerb, and social life, etc.

Let's post about total lack of self control or the ability to do positive things with you life as opposed to spending hundreds of hours playing an MMO.

WoW Forced me into a an adjustable rate mortage and now my payments are so high I can no longer afford the interweb or the WoW sub.
I was fired from my 2nd job when I mistakingly PK'd my boss ingame.
NEVER name your character after yourself and include your workplace and job title as your bio. <_<
I guess I'm in the minority, I never felt any compulsion to play any MMO more than any other game. Less in the case of WAR or WoW, in fact. They repelled me, rather than even making me feel indifferent.
You didn't contest on the grounds of unfair dismissal or anything, or are you kidding?
Can't really contest when it was on work time. >_<
And who would dare try saying "But you were playing at work too!!!"?
lol of course I was kidding
I don't know about everyone else, but MMO's actually made me LOSE weight (not that I was heavy to begin with though). More time playing, less time for everything else--including eating. (no WoW for me, gogo FFXI)made you gain 100 lbs. .
