Everyone that cuts metal, buy one now. I love this thing. If you have a steady hand they can work wonders on a case cutout.

WARNING... when cutting with this though, tiny "slices" of metal go everywhere. Try to wear gloves, long sleeve shirt, and DEFINITE eye protection. Ive got a few imbedded in my skin right now...

The only problem is that you can't actually cut with it, because then it's going to get in a tight space, vibrate back and forth, and then break the bit. That's what happened to my first bit.

Now for shaping, I should have thought of using that thing. But after my dad had already broke the first $9 bit I was reluctant to try to use it again.
 
Personally I thinkk the best tool for someone working with a dremel tool is something you cant buy "patience" :D

I have a good collection of drum sanders and carbid like tools for cleaning up edges and cutting.

Doing these flames was intresting actually ended up finishing it by hand with small diamond files.

Man Rob I would be scared to do something like that to my marker. It looks cool though. I'm not sure if it would be worth the risk for me.
 
I just use the Flexshaft and a fiberglass-reinforced cutoff wheel. Makes for pretty good precision. It's much tougher with a steel case than aluminum, but it still works, though you'll go through more wheels. Also, steel throws quite a few sparks, whereas in my experience, aluminum does not. I barely put any wear on a cutting wheel doing the blowhole for my Antec aluminum case, whereas cutting out the two integrated 80mm fan grills on the back of my steel AOpen HX-08 took nearly two cutting wheels to do the job.
