ok, what is the best air cooler, up to 70 dollars

make a choice?

edit: must include fan and shipping

The ninja is arguably the best air cooler on the market. Make sure you've got enough space in your case.

would it fit in a P180 on a A8N-SLI with a A64 3200 ?

It would certainly fit the P180 (I'm running mine in there now), and definetly on any socket A64, but I couldn't help you about the motherboard. I would assume so, as it's supposedly "universal," but give it a google. You should be able to find someone with it listed on their sig.

edit: here's proof that it'll fit.

will it fit a superlanboy

dunno...the lanboy case is ~1inch thinner than the p180, and I don't know if thats enough room. give it a google and check.

EDIT: Heatsink Dimensions:
110 x 110 x 150mm (nearly 6 inches tall)

time to grab a ruler!

Zalman works very well.

Yes, at least it fits in mine just fine. It might be close if you've modded a fan onto the side window - I'd say there's less than an inch clearance between the top of the ninja and the side of the case.

I knew that the ninja was bug, but actually holding one for the first time gave me a tingling of raw power - it's gigantic, but still pretty light.

the best air cooler is the one that cools my radiator ;)

I had a big typhoon for a while .. lapped the base and used a panaflo on it .. keep my xp-m wicked chilly.. they're widely availbe and are somewhat less expensive ...

can't be more than 2-3C between a lapped typhoon and a tuniq tower or whatever...

I have to disagree here, for $70 budget you can get higher performance units like Scythe Ninja

Hell, I got my ninja for $36...so you could get a nice 120mm fan and the ninja for $70. or a Ninja a fan controller...a Ninja and like 8 big macs....

Where did you get your ninja for that price?

jabtech have it for about that. I paid just over $50 shipped including a fan, a couple of finger guards and a tube of ceramique.

Either the Sythe Ninja, the Stasis Icestorm, or the thermalright XP-120 or 90 although the first two out perform the last one.

Picked up a P180 and the Zalman 9500 last night I must say Im pretty impressed :) I know my temps arent overly accurate due to mobo probe issues however my cpu temp at idle is around 19C (my room is pretty cool this time of year so this assists in these temps) and 29C Load. Ive got a Venice 3200+ at 2250mhz -- itll take more I just dont like touching voltage I feel liek this is less strain on the cpu. Anyways I love this thing so far and aside from cable management in the P180 I love the case as well. The one downside to the P180 is that I couldnt use my OCZ modstream power supply. The 24pin cable was too stiff to fit through the cable management holes so im a little let down about that.
