I don't know about everyone else, but I think we're in desperate need of a thread for the A8N series mobos. There are too many threads involving comparison questions, voltages, overclocks, etc. with these series of mobos, and trying to find precise info with the search feature by typing in 'A8N' is near impossible.

I'd like to start one up, but I'd figure that I'll post this here first incase the mods think it's a stupid idea (so they can quickly delete it :p).
 
I'm a proud owner of an a8n-e...

Using AI to overclock my Opty 175 to 2.4ghz.

Still couldn't play with my ocz platinum memories, they're kind of picky with regards to timings.
 
Which would be the best board for overclocking? The A8N5X or the A8N-SLI Premium?

I would hook up an Opty 170 + Tt BigTyphoon, but no SLI. I would go for the 5X, but I haven't heard anything about it's overclocking abilities. I'd like to utilize my DDR500 RAM to it's fullest, plus more!
