Hello guys, i'm a real noob around here, but i have a question i must ask before i do anything stupid. I have a presario 700 (peice of junk, nobody should ever buy it), and the battery is dead, i'll charge it, and after 2 minutes the battery would die.

So i went to best buy, and i saw this external battery, it's really thin, it claims to have up to 4hrs of life. Has anyone used this product? because i'm clue less, and it costs like 160 bucks...

someone tell me if it works, and if there's a better place to get it.

Is this something that's compatible with all laptops - or just yours?

Either way - I think you'd be better off just buying a new battery for your laptop.

I'd recommend getting a new battery of eBay. Make sure it's a new one and not a used one.

The external batteries plug into the AC power adapter, so just make sure it has the right type of connection. I haven't owned one of my own, but i've haven't heard of anyone else having problems with them.

But getting a main replacement battery would also be a good idea.

Hope that helps
