i know it wouldn't work, but i just wanted to take a picture of it and marvel at it's glorious excess. 2x 6990s and 2x 6970s by the way.

That's insane. To bad your case is green, unless you are getting water blocks for those hot 6990s.

whats this for? folding now that ati folds quite well? or are you not planning on using all of the gpu's? and just have them like that for the pic?

edit: nvm read the first line. Looking at that pic I wish that ati would do what the green team did with the gtx200 series and made the area with the actual fan lower so there would be room to take in air when cards are sandwiched together.

Its obvious you have waaay too much GPU there... If you want, I'll do you a solid and take one of those 6970's off your hands :D

I wonder what kind of PSU you'd need to make that thing run.

if drivers permitted, i'd actually have to position both 6970s in the middle to be able to bridge all four cards correctly.

when i began this project, the only thing i was sure of was that i needed 10 expansion slots for the 4 way sli board, it had to accommodate two multi fan radiators, and it had to be a lian li. i noticed that there seemed to be very few lian li armor suit builds that featured dual rads. i knew i could hang a 360 rad off the back 12cm fan port, but figuring out how to mount a front radiator proved to be a bit more complicated.

with all of the slot covers and hard drive cages removed i noticed that i could fit a thin radiator inside the front bezel if i removed a bit of material off a couple of support brackets.

time for the water blocks.

koolance quick disconnect and bitspower compression fittings. going to run the fluid in parallel to ensure all 4 gpus get as much cooling as possible.

next up is hollowing out a scythe ultra kaze 38mm thick fan as the rear 360 rad mount.
