thanks for the sigs

Hello,

I just wanted to give you guys positive feedback for the strict sig policy (<10 lines, no images) and that it is displayed smaller than content. I went to another forum just now to look at a thread about this one person's worklog and boy, i couldn't tell where there was content and with 1/2 the posts the SIG was bigger and more attention grabbing than the content. Especially all the nasty images and text in 500 different colors was aweful.

Summary: Thanks for making sure that content is importat on this forum, not some super-1337 picture in a sig.

Thanks for the kudos....we have tried over the years to be simple and clean and shift the focus of the page to the content of the thread, not a humongous flashy signature which is distracting and just plain annoying. I'm happy the majority of our members agree with you

I agree... Being a senior moderator of a very popular forum, I know what it is to deal with those crappy sigs, especially images. some ppl even go as far as putting videos as sigs I wish our forum is like here and allow only text to be displayed
