• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Thank You!!!!

For the lighter green intellitext on the home page. I can actually read an entire sentence now w/out squinting to see what word was missing. Hopefully the forum gets updated too.

I also noticed a lower frequency of IntelliTXT now, like only once every few posts instead of three times in one post. It's mostly all relevant now, too.

Thanks [H] for listening to your members. Great job!

The intellitext doesnt bother me at all, just the dark color. I would have had issues whether it was normal text, a hyperlink, etc. But i like the progress.

I second the thanks to listening to members.

Moving to that lighter font in here too to see how it reads.

i was kinda hoping for a an intellitext color of white just like the normal forum text color. easy to read, and it wont clash with the color scheme.

and still has lines.

and the links so far have been completely off base for forum conversation.

Yes much easier to see, thanks much. I don't think the sea green color looks right with the rest of the forum colors, but at least I can read it now and that is appreciated.
I've managed a few vBulletin forums before and I know that you have to enter colors in hex value. Perhaps this will help.

Why not try a brighter red or a gold? Both would be very visible and go with the forum's color scheme better than sea green does.

Try these:

Gold: ffcc66
Red: c20000

I personally am very very happy with the new color, thanks for changing it. I doubt you will find anyone that thinks the dark green was better than this. Thanks again I don't really mind the intelitext as long as I can read through the posts uninterupted, the forums are pretty much back to there normal selves :).

New color is much better, thank you for changing it. Makes it much easier to read pages without sitting 1" from the monitor :)

You guys mousing over any of these things? I have to admit they get me wondering what is attached to them. Although I am unsure if they really targeted as they should be.

On you guys suggesting "matching" forum colors, the idea is not to fool anyone to mousing over or clicking them if they do not want to. I don't want to be seen as trying to trick folks, that is not cool. We want our readers to know an ad from a reader link, but we also want them to be easy on the eyes and not too numerous.

A very welcomed change in colors. Makes it ALOT easier to read. And avoid if thats what a person chooses to do.

I try to avoid mousing over them like the plague.
Cant scroll when the little buggers are "popped-up"

The color is an improvement, but I still find the linked ads laughable.

How exactly does this generate money for the forums if the ads are something only an idiot would click on? I was under the impression <har har> that per-impression ad payments had gone the way of the dodo.

Thanks for having the kind of intellitext that doesn't lag up the whole page like some other places. The kind which you mouseover, then it gives you an "ad loading" for about 5 seconds during which time you can't move at all.

Once again, Thanks.

I just moused over a link for "monitors" and the ad said "Shop for Computers in Australia". Do we get lots of people from Australia here? Also, why aren't the ads IP-targeted? I'm nowhere near Australia.

I'm looking forward to a few weeks from now when Kyle gets the monthly income reports for Intellitxt. I can't imagine it's bringing in much revenue, but if it does, more power to him.

Went on vacation for a few days and today is my first time back on since Sunday.

I have to say in that short time the IntelliTXT has improved alot. The lighter green is much easier on the eyes but still stands out enough for good advertising.

Also, it seems that all the links are relevant now which is so much better because now they don't piss me off as much. :p

Thanks for the improvement guys.

I noticed that too. Now, instead of five irrelavent links in one post, we get one relevant link about every five posts. Much better.

(Although I have to be honest, I still don't mouse over them)

I've moused over a couple and at least they are on topic now, but i hate how if i'm just scrolling through a thread and my mouse lands on one it will pop up and interrupt what I'm reading. THEN even after mousing off it stays on for 5-10 seconds unless you click somewhere else. Annooooying. Green color is better though! Haha

Agreed, I like the lighter colors and they definitely seem more relevant now. The only thing that bugs me currently is that they're kind of random: sometimes in sigs, sometimes the body of a post or even in thread titles. Just a minor aesthetic complaint.

I am glad, however, that they're not in like every third word. Some places are really, really terrible about that, but here even on a full page of posts you see maybe 5 instances, which is nice.
