TF2 is probably my most played gaming title and I'm curious to hear members of [H] on their experience playing Team Fortress 2 on Eyefinity. Any?

No issues whatsoever. Probably the only game that i had the least trouble with setting up the HUD to get it in the middle monitor and the FOV scales perfectly!

Get over 150 frames everything maxed at 6300x1920 using a pair of 5870e6s. At that size you just hope you don't run out of bullets because your not going to find your ammo count and kill things at the same time.

I'm really surprised that Valve are so behind with Surround/Eyefinity support. Surely they could modify all the Source games with little effort to support centralised HUDs and bezel correction support.

wat

You set up bezel correction on your end. The game gets run at a slightly higher resolution.

Bezel correction messes with centralised HUDs in some Eyefinity/Surround compatible games and therefore also needs to be taken into consideration when they make them natively compatible.... is what I was talking about.

Go to the end of the thread and download the premade packs that Delphium posts as a starting point.

I play a lot of TF2 in eyefinity. You can use the FOV calculator on WSGF to make a custom fix for your bez corrected resolution, or just increment by hand. I use 6048x1080 with no problem at all off my single 5870 -- I think I run 4x AA, everything else maxed, always above 60fps. There is quite a bit of fisheye and the FOV is capped at 90, but you do get used to it. No going back -- love it.

Works extremely well, especially on a map like Warpath (I can see what's going on in the tunnel and ridge at the same time) :

Works pretty well for me, I usually just play 3x1 portrait cause I'm to lazy to flip them to Landscape. Sometimes the game freezes up until I swap the graphics settings, but I think maybe that was a driver issue on the 11.2 amd drivers. I haven't played since I upgraded to 11.4p, but the problem isn't very common, so I can finish a session without crashing.
