TF2 : NEW CLASS??

No. It depends on the map. On 2Fort, as you're looking for snipers, you can pick off scouts jumping onto the bridge roof. I constantly snipe the enemies who appear on the battlements. It's not like a sniper takes ten seconds to reload. You can snipe two people in seconds.

On Goldrush, it's all about the tunnel into Red's base. Offensive snipers like to stick around in the tunnel and snipe out into the defense's base. Defensive snipers can get a lot of kills sniping enemies pouring out of it, especially the ones huddling around the payload.

i have to disagree... snipers have a valuable role on certain maps and at certain times.... i will switch off to another class if the sniper doesnt really help in a certain situation.
 
people need to stop complaining ..it makes me feel bad for valve...i mean they are try to do somthing that the community has been begging for years...Constantly begging for longterm support for a game.....and now they are doing it..and people are shitting on it...im pissed because they are ruining it for the others

That's pretty much how I play as well. I go for the class that will be most useful in a given situation.

It's really fun playing as a medic and having a go-to teammate to follow and uber.

Team speak is really helpful, and it connects you better to other people. It also promotes the team thing.

You seem to have misunderstood me so I will restate myself here:
Very rare is the sniper who is valuable to his team.

I do not mean this as a judgment of the class itself and the role they can perform, but instead of the players themselves, who are terrible 99% of the time and do nothing worthwhile. You have to be really good to be a sniper that's actually worthwhile to your team, and that is what is VERY rare.

It can be argued too that 80%+ of all players are pretty terrible too, but a terrible soldier can do a lot more for a team than a terrible sniper. First, he doesn't have to aim very well, he can take damage that might otherwise be inflicted on you, and he helps complete objectives in a limited fashion.
 
I guess I play on a server with alot of good snipers, because I hate them the most. On fire, spinning in the air wildly and randomly? No problem. HEADSHOT. Im glad pyros got flare guns now, so I can annoy snipers as much as they annoy me heh.

as a pro sniper... on gold rush maps when attacking... i can clear out engies , demo men and sniper defenses pretty easily. it allows my team to break out quickly

Someone said he heard that the stimulus package was $600 and that it was supposed to "stimulate" the economy.

I called bs on it

Your stimulus refund was based off how much you paid. If you paid over $600 and single, you got $600 back. $1200 for married. There was a calculator on turbo tax's website.
