text too sharp on a tn panel

here is a benq TN panel 22" i have lying around and the text on it is just too sharp. in windows 7 all individual colors on the text are visible too.

cleartype isnt of much help. the monitor doesnt have a sharpness setting.

is there something that can be done for this?

have you tried adjusting the brightness and contrast? most monitors come way too bright and that can make text annoying to read....

ive done that its on lowest possible setting without making it too dark.

Can it connect via VGA? If so it will sure blur some things up for you.

GOTO control panel then Display and make the size of the text bigger I'm sure it will look better then goto 125% or something 100% is unreadable for me cause I wear glasses.
