So are there any photographers in here from Texas?

I live in Houston, but I never make much of an attempt to go take photos.

waiting to get the money to buy my own SLR, so I don't have to borrow the one from my school newspaper.

having my license+car would be nice too.

Im moving to Dallas in the fall, if anyone cares. :D

I'm near Dallas. The only photo shoots we do in Dallas are the ones that include girls dressed sleazy though. I don't think you would like it here too much....;)

I left my camera in Texas and my photography skills overseas.

I did have a ball taking pictures while there. I've lived in every corner of Texas including Central Texas ie SA, Austin. Spent some time in Dallas..believe it or not, just to see what the hype was all about with FRYs. The scenary is amazing. I have some pics and video of one of the worst hail storms evar><...truly a spectical.

I am however new to the dallas area and have no idea where to shoot things down here or subjects. You can contact me on AIM if you are in the area and want to shoot. Can also check out the place i work for at www.photosbymichaels.com

AIM is unidentifiedSRT

I'm in western Plano, and two of these storms we had this month made me wish that I had a decent camera; all I've got is my phone. But anyway, when a storm's coming through, try heading out to the fringes where the horizon's not blocked all around by buildings.

I'm in Lubbock...and I drive to Amarillo all the time. I have a d40, I take loads of pics.

I live in Tyler. I just do photography as a hobby. But unfortunately I don't have time to do it much.:(

Same here. I know the meaning of having no time. I work 50hours a week and doing my MBA full time......I have no life

Yeah, I work about 40 hours a week, and when I am not working I am traveling all over town fixing friends PC's. I'm thinking I'm going to start charging an hourly fee. Some f te fixin's I do, can take hours or even days.

Also I think its safe to say, not many people actually have a life. Unless they were born rich. :p

I live in Dallas. I recently got my camera gear. I have a full-time job and do photography on the side as a hobby.

I has a season pass to the Dallas Arboretum. Great place for pictures. Especially for wedding photos.

In a few months I will get a Nikon 17-55mm and 70-200mm lens. Then I can get more serious about wedding photography. Til then, my 18-200mm will do me just fine.
