I'm in Dallas, TX where it's been pretty damn hot.

I have a 2.4C clocked to 3.0Ghz on a Zalman CNPS7000A. My CPU temp seems to always stay around 45C, regardless of load. Chassis temp usually hovers around 34C. System is quite stable.

I'm in [H]ouston running my 2.8c on the stock hsf. Watercooling coming soon

Temps are 40-44 C idle and 55-59C load.

ah i see.. because the computer i built for my cousin seemed pretty high in temps and that got me thinking because my cousins friend who also built his computer and did the whole processor dillio for a 3.0C/stock cooling is getting around 50C+ and i was telling him that its really bad (thinking he screwed up since it was his first time and didnt know what he was doing, he just saw me do it once and did it on his own later on his own and didnt use lint free clothes) ...guess i was wrong

Here in Austin on my 2500+ Barton overclocked to 2800+ my stock cooking is about 38°C and my Full load is about 45°C. But I keep my ambient temp at a cool 75°F...

But then again my Barton 2500+ to 2800+ in my other case (Shuttle SFF) runs about 44°C idle and 52°C Full Load.....

Just don't check those temps when he (darktiger) goes out of town. Then its hella hot in that apartment (poor cat)!!!!

My apartment stays around 75-78F (summer). My old Barton 2500+ runs a CM AeroFlow 7+, about 37C idle, 50 load (like FarCry for more than an hour load).

My A64 3200+ @ 2.3gHz runs about 36 - 38C idle, 47-49C HEAVY load. I use a Swiftech MCX6400V w. 92mm fan

I'm running an XP 1800+, getting 46C regardless of load. I was getting 67C when I ran UT2k4 for awhile (didn't realize it was getting so hot until I d/l Motherboard Manager 5), but my comp kept crashing afer about 10 min. Moved up to a copper heatsink with an adapter for an 80mm fan, and upgraded my 60mm on the back of the case to an 80mm, cleaned the wiring a bit and it dropped my temps by 21C
Consequently, UT runs stable now

In my SN45G my 3200+ runs about 40°-42° idle and after about an hour of UT2K4 it will get to 50°-52°. It stays about 10° above the case temp though so it's not bad.

I'm in toasty San Antonio, Tx, and my temps stay consitently at 44 and 37. If I play BF: Vietman or UT2004 for awhile then they go up to about 46 or 47 cpu. Thats with a Thermalright SLK900A and Vantec Tornado, AC is pretty much always running too. Temps arn't too bad considering I'm running about a 600 MHz overclock.

the rig in the sig @ 2.4ghz gets 38c idle, 49c load, over night prime95 heat killa

You'll need a Tornado for 600mHz oc.

I have a Vantec Tornado, I hooked it up for about 5 minutes, but the whine was too annoying.

Anybody want to buy an 80mm Tornado?

cpu 42c to 45c

playing ut2k4 for a couple of hours it gets to 49c is the highest.

AMD Barton 2500+ at 3200+ 200x11stock HSF
2 120mm case fans
5v to the fans at idle and surfing the net and 12v when gaming.

120gb WD 7200rpm hdd

i keep the apt at 72degrees

35c-36c on strt-up/ idle
41c-42c at full load- Dod/farcry 2+ hours

I get 38-39c, no load(have an sk-6) with the same setup as you. I can get 34C if I take the case off(I only have one damn outlet for heat on this hastily bought case. But I do have two fans on the heatsink. One is on the top(well side, i'm trying to describe it as if the pc is upright), and is a small little fan. The other is an 80mm. I don't know why people don't do this more often, because it makes about a 4C difference when I do it, from the crossbreeze alone. I also like to keep my room extra cool, so maybe that's it

with my room being 82 degrees at the moment, my CPU temp is 52*C. but after some gaming it usually only goes up to a high of 55.

i can't wait for the winter.
