Hey guys just wanted to get an opinion, I recently purchased an ENVY Sleekbook 6-1010us (got a really really good price on it) I'm selling my old DM3 which will almost make it so I spent nothing on the new one. I use it soley for testing things out so I am always swapping OS's. Currently I am dual booting linux(peppermint 3) and windows 7.

It maxes out at 16GB of DDR3 PC3-12800. Basically I have successfully installed 3 games onto the linux partition( World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, League of Legends) which are also installed onto the Windows 7 partition.

I for my own personal fun want to test out the performance difference between the 2 OS's on this "low-mid ranged" laptop. So far with World of Warcraft I see a difference of 20-30fps on Windows as opposed to 35-45 fps running under linux. (In the same scenarios of course!) (prefering OpenGL when using World of Warcraft but still higher performance using DirectX)

My question for you guys:

I have not used an APU system until now, and was wondering what would be the best 16GB kit to purchase for the maximum possible performance regarding gaming (around ~$85). As I have read that APU systems love better memory and more of it.

Again this is for my own personal fun, not trying to prove anything to anyone, just something I enjoy doing. =]
