Has anyone ever built or purchased a testbed to stack their motherboard, optical drives, and power supply on?

I always have things I want to test, but I don't want to test them in my main computer, so I bought a motherboard and and cheap generic case. I have the motherboard mounted in the case and just leave the case's side open. I have all the components. They are all cheap components though. I just have them there, so if I ever have to put in a CPU, ram or video card, I can just swap it in and turn it on to test.

I've wanted something that takes up less space, and looks better than just a board, PSU and drives laying on the table. So I've recently been looking to purchase a Senfu DIY House (aka Senfu Tech Station). You can see what that is at:

The Plycon site is the only place I've seen it for sale, but it is out of stock. If anyone knows where I can purchase one, please let me know. If anyone is using something similiar (whether it was build by yourself, or purchased), I would like to know about it. Thanks
 
If you're handy with a saw and a screwdriver, build one yourself. Just go to home depot or somewhere and get some wood!
