I do not know much about artificing, but i am experiencing tons of little dots that appear on my screen and i believe it to be artificing. I only experience this with one game so far, Vanguard:Saga of Heroes, and it occurs after only 5-10 minutes of playing time. What are some things i could try to find the problem, or what could some reasons for this be?

1. What power supply do you have?
2. Are you keeping an eye on your video card temps?
3. What other games do you play?

Antec TruePower II 480w psu

idle temps are at 35 C
I havn't watched the temp under load but usually right after i quit Vanguard it is no higher than 55.

I do not have these problems with Counter-Strike:Source and Half-Life 2, the other main games i play.

You've been playing a little TOO much Vanguard, because "artificing" is a tradeskill in that game. You're talking about artifacting. :D

Vanguard is still pretty unoptimized right now, and still has tons of glitches and bugs, poorly coded items, and etc. I say if it's not occurring in any other games - don't worry too much. Maybe try some marathon Oblivion or something else that will push your system just as far as Vanguard does, and see if you get the same results.
