(edit: sorry forgot to finish thinking of a title)

I got a coupon for a free name brand wireless-N router at MicroCenter. They're pretty smart, putting "Name brand router" on the coupon, rather than the actual brand, which is TENDA. Pretty lame name if you ask me. The store reps refer to it as "the free router" LOL

This is the freebie router. Nice interface, beautiful design actually (looks like recent linksys/cisco models), and has an internal antenna. It's small too, the same size as a 3.5" HDD.

I set it up and it works. I'll keep it as a backup. Not bad for a freebie (it's on sale for $19.99 otherwise). Unfortunately no open source support of any kind.

Anyway, I went to their site, and saw THIS.

New concept and fashionable show from Tenda third-generation VI design to enjoy your networking life.

I think the base/stand is supposed to resemble feet, and a skateboard! I can't wait to get this so I can enjoy my networking life! :D

I've used some of their USB wireless card. They work pretty well. I get better much throughput than an old Linksys one I have, and a bit better than the Airlink ones I got at Fry's.
