Temps seem high

I just installed some higher cfm fans and I was expecting a tempature drop, and it is still at around 60c under load. I even installed a pa120.2 I had lying around. Any thoughts on why my temps would be so high?

Pic would help, as well as an explanation of how you're loop's ordered. Make sure the pump is below and just after the res. Make sure the cpu block is properly seated. Re-seat if necessary. Also.. are you using fans?
 
Sorry =P anyways it goes res-pump-rad-rad-cpu-gpu, I am using 4 scyth slipstream 110cfm fans (2 on each rad)

You're cooling the rig in your sig with this setup? A Q6600 @3.48Ghz using a TDX is a bit much. You might look at a more up to date block with an accelerator plate for quad core with good mount pressure, or, pull off the TDX and look to see if you are getting even mount pressure. Both of your 120x2's should be good for the CPU, but I'm not sure on the GTX285. I have mine in a separate loop, and a single 120x2 with a mild overclock stresses the loop.

What are your temps like with stock clocks?
 
Ok I realize I haven't gotten any responses, but even at stock voltages/ clocks my cpu wont go below 50.
 
I am using distilled water with pt nuke, and I have tried remounting it.
 
Based on your first post: with temps of around or under 60c, overclocked and under load sound, that sounds normal with a dual rad and you should not worry so much.

(Ignoring post #7 because it is too ambigous - assuming you mean your doesn't go below 50c "under load".)

It idles at 50? That's very high, "depending" on your overclock settings.

Although if it consistently only goes up by to 60c "under load" for a reasonable amount of time (such as 1 hour and not 5 seconds), that's actually quite good and implies that your watercooling is working. So probably not worth discussing your radiator, fans, coolant, or pump since it's clearly working and gives you an excellent delta of 10c under load.

I know it's been mentioned, but I'm afraid that if your watercooling is working as well as you just described (delta of 10 when overclocked is good), I'd recheck that mounting. Heck, just put the Intel air cooler on it and see if it also gives you idle temps of 50+.

(However, it could be something you've not mentioned, or maybe some of the facts are not completely accurate? I mean, why even mention that you're disappointed with a load temp of 60, which is not THAT bad and could be perfectly normal, if your idle temps at stock is 50 - now THAT is weird but you never mentioned it until asked. And the temps you give, most people assumed they're based on your sig which shows an overclocked system, because you didn't say anything, and 60 at load overclocked seems fine. But afterwards you talk about idle temps of 50 at stock. Possible you're mixing up your stock and load temps? And for all I know your temp of 60 overclocked on load could be with a vcore of 1.45 in which case it's excellent. When you say you were expecting a drop in temps with "higher cfm" fans, for all I know you could be talking about going from a 2000rpm fan to a 2500rpm fan which would explain why you don't see much of a difference. But no one knows as you haven't given specifics! )

I experience the same problem with my Exos 2 - I was running an E6600 at 3.15 and it was idle at 52- finally made the move to air cooling and got lower temps- 47

I have one rad mounted in the 5 1/4" bays and one up top with the psu.

I am going to try remounting the block again and my cpu was idling at around 46c with stock speeds and voltages. I will try this as soon as I get time.
