My temps for my 6800GT are not rising as i am overclocking it. From stock to 390/565 my temps have gone up like 2C. Is this wierd or something? I mean i would expect them to go up more, but i do have good airflow, but i dunno. Opinons?

Well whats the temp when your Video Card is on 100% load? When I was overclocking my mates 6600GT the idle temp didn't go up... It was when it was on 100% load it went up alot.

What kind of cooling are you using? Stock or aftermarket (Zalman VF700, TR V-1, NV Silencer 3, etc.)

Yeah idle temps don't really mean a thing when testing temps when OC, though a 40 mhz core increase shouldn't increase the core temp by to much though the mem OC would increase the env. temp some. I would say 8-10C change is reasonable under full load for stock . . .

My load temps are 77-78C on stock when running rthdribrl, which is good. I am OCed at 395/565. I am stable at 400/575, i just decided to back down some more for safe reasons. Other than that, i got a nice OC out of my GT.

I have a 7800GTX that I overclock the crap out of, but I watercool it also. The odd thing is, I had an X850XT PT that would bring the temps into the midrange 40's when at full load overclocked. My 7800GTX idles at 31C and only reaches 35C under full load when OC'd as high as I can take it. I find it pretty odd that it goes up so little, but I am guessing its because the die has more surface area.
