Hey all been battling upgrade paths and was curious about this one.

My current sys is p4 2.4, abi is7-e2 , 1 gb corsair 3200 ram, 9600 .


So i really want to do a highend system but the time for it will have to wait til after march,for now i need something i can get the most out of and maybe even run some high settings on.

I saw amd's venice 3200 prices and the asrock dual vsta board where i can use my ram and pci-e on it...will this proc hurt me say with a x1950pro or little better in games liike oblivion.Just wondering if thats a little too budget to run newer games on.
