Due to the record heat here in Wisconsin and the fact that I couldn't get the house temperatures under 80 yesterday, I will be bringing down my folding boxes today. It looks like the weather will break this weekend, so I should be able to turn them back on Sunday evening. Don't panic - I'm not going anywhere. I'll be back to full production shortly.

Man that must be rough at 80 :D Here in Colorado temps have been in upper 90s to low 100s the last several weeks. Makes the basement feel like a sauna. Surprisingly the temps of the two 4P have been in the mid to low 50s  Y ou lot to love those 212+s.

System temps aren't a problem (sub-50C) - house temps are.

Grandpa is gonna catch up, Grandpa is gonna catch up :D

Not really actually I feel for all of you that are caught in the current heat wave, I would / will be doing the same if and when it gets hot here. One unfortunate thing about living in a cooler climate no AC and if it gets in the 80 range the rig's will be going down.

Hopefully it will be cooling down for all of you stuck in the heat wave soon. Because if it does not Grandpa is going to catch up, Grandpa is going to catch up :D

Temp are on the way to 103 today and 105 tomorrow in the great state of Virginia. I picked an interesting week to attempt to run my 4P box in the garage. (I'm afraid to open the garage door now).

This heat wave sucks....though I can easily keep my gear going, it doesn't count for much since I'm SMP.

Runs about 115 to 120 in my garage. Three of my 4P's are out there. I don't dare bring them inside. The AC bill alone would top 800.00 a month.

They fold fine. We'll see how long they last.

Nothing to worry about ... I still have my folding rigs (yeah .. rigS) running ... as long as the air conditioning works ... lolz

Yeah we just moved into an older apt from our house so we could get closer to work. The old ac unit at the apt just can't keep up either. It was 80 in the apt when we went to bed at 1130 last night. I'm can't fire my 2600k back up until at least sunday. I think normal temps I'll be ok, but 100 just doesn't work too well.

Drive to Oshkosh, I got a room you can put them in:eek:

Im gonna have to do the same as well... Its supposed to rain all next week, so maybe I can hold off.

Come over to NoWhere, I think I could afford hosting a 4p*

*I'd have to "test" it first with my passkey mind you. Have to make sure that hardware works you know.

Yes and multiple clock profiles helps a lot with the changing weather patterns unfortunate not all mobos support the feature.

Would love some heat, even if it just made it into the 80's, all we have had in the UK for the last 3 months is rain, rain and more effing rain

Want to send some of the rain over here? I think they're saying almost 60% of the US is currently in drought.

Well I am having to scale back for awhile. A/C compressor locked up, I just have a couple small window units running now and they just cannot keep it under 95F.
There goes my top 10ppd position but will l be back.
I will try to run an 17 setup until I get cool again

You can have it with pleasure, on the drought front that's what they said in the UK back at the end of February/beginning of March. April the 3rd the rains came and it hasn't really stopped since, some towns have been flooded out two or three times already

Its been so hot here in denver, but the last two days we got some nice rain.
