Hey all

I recently got a 7900gs and based upon my research, it's a fantastic overclocker so of course I hope to increase its performance. Being new to overclocking, I know that heat/temperature are some serious issues - so I was wondering if anyone could suggest a quality (preferably free!) program that would let me monitor temperatures.

Also, if there are any other useful programs that would assist in making sure I dont do anything stupid, I'd love to see them.

nTune seems to work fine for me.

nVtweak for Vid card O.C. controls. It enables the controls from within the Driver software App. You can use the "Find Optimal" button for quick and easy OC. Once you find a setting seems to work, go in there and uncheck the "Use these settings only til I restart my computer" checkbox.

Your motherboard manufacturer probably has temp monitoring programs for it. In the third party realm, SpeedFan or mobo monitor may work for you.
