how bad does teh temperature outside effect the temp of a comp?
Its 75 outside and i dont have the air on and my comp rose 2C.

During the summer its usually 80-90 outside and i usually have the air conditioner on.
Should my temps rise more?
 
in a building I work at the AC keeps the room at 70f-72f while the computers outside temp was about 80-92f when 1 of the AC units failed and the temp went to 82-83 the computers outside temp rose to 105-130+f
 
yah my house is at 77 and my gpu, 8800GTS, is ideling 58C and my e6600 is ideling 35C.
just a few days ago my gpu ideled at 55C and my cpu at 31C. does this sound right?
 
What matters is the temperature of the air that your computer is exposed to.

So if your computer is inside your house, then the temperature that matters is the temperature right outside your case.

very true, but i highhhhly doubt that your room temperature will be hotter then your case. so circulation allows cooler air to go into the case.

Er...fans are a forced air solution, so they don't care whether the air outside the case is hotter than that inside. The temperature outside matters as heat transfer is based on the temperature differential. Thus a heatsink being supplied with a given amount of wattage in the form of heat will run hotter if the air being passed over it is hotter. So yes, room temperature does have an effect on how hot your PC will run.
 
what was weird was yesterday my comp temps were really low but my room temp was the same as usualy. My gpu was loading at 60C and my processor at 40C, usually they arnt that low.
