Greetings,

Does anyone have any suggestions on a simple temperature/humidity reader-type device to be put in a server room?

the room only contains one server. Nothing super fancy is needed, just a very simplistic device.

The only device I've found is this one .....

the extra features (emailing, etc.) are cool, but not absolutely necessary ......

any suggestions?

:)

The digital termostat that runs the AC in my server room provides both temp and humidity data.

I forget the brand, but it came with the 5 ton AC unit we put in to keep our 9 servers + communications rack cool here in Phoenix. (overkill is good)

You could get a digital hygrometer from any cigar shop for about $20 as long as you don't need it to interface with a computer. It gives you temp and humidity, some will also give you min/max temp/humidity readings as well.
