First I have a different question. I went to Frys and got the 7700 Zalman fan but it wasnt copper??? It was like half aluminum and half copper. Whats the point? Will that affect the temps by....say.....1 or 2 degrees if it is half aluminum??

And right now Im looking for a set of sensors.

I just want one for my CPU and one for my case as a whole.
Do these sensors come with a Program?

I have a A8N SLI Premium

dont know about the sensors, but as far as the copper/aluminum thing goes, here's my THEORY (you might wanna look up the actual numbers, you'll probably find a review in the CPU cooler guide stickied at the top of this forum): copper absorbs heat better, but it doesn't disperse it as well as aluminum. with a high flow fan copper would be ideal since it you'd be maximizing heat absorption while compensating for the lack of heat dispersion. the zalman however comes with a fairly low-noise, low-output fan, so the copper one might not be working to it's full potential, so it's benefits to the copper/aluminum hsf are somewhat diminished.

in short i doubt there's a big difference, but the actual numbers are what matters and i'm sure there's plenty of comparisons out there.
