could use some help with a few questions...

- SpeedFan - pic I have no idea what temp that is supposed to be monitoring, but it looks a bit off, what the hell in my case would be -128°C...?

- Hardware Monitor - what are TMPIN0 and TMPIN1...?

- GPU-Z - what is that middle temp that is always considerably higher than the other too...?
 
the 128C reading is usually caused by a reference to a sensor that is not there.
So it just displays a never changing 128C

Thats all i got cant help with other 2 as i do not know
 
The -128 is a dead sensor, while the temp0 and temp1 are your motherboard ambient and cpu socket temps. The gpu temp you circled might be your vrm temps, but I'm not a 100% sure on that.

thanks, so the VRM temps are usually higher...? or is something wrong...?

I updated my gpu-z to the latest version and now it seems to have some explanations of which temps are which...

tempin1 and tempin0 are you cpu and chipset temps.

if that's the case I really wish those numbers were accurate, if "tempin0" is supposed to be the cpu, PC Wizard, Everest, RealTemp all show temps ~ 20°C higher than that, the weird thing is that CPUID make hardware monitor (pictured) and PC Wizard right...? so why would they show different temps...?
 
The temp1 showing in HWmonitor is the CPU socket temp, not to be confused with CPU core temp. The socket sensor is built into the mobo underneath the socket, so it's not really all that accurate. The only one I would pay attention to are the Core temps. It's reading off a diode built into the chip.
