temp problem w/e6300 and tuniq tower

im getting 40 degrees celsius ambient temps at 3.01 ghz and im thinking about reseating the heatsink or is it ok?

You failed to mention with what did you measure the temp with and what your Vcore is set at. Need to know that to really give an opinion.

CoreTemp would be best for temp measurement. Vcore per bios setting.

i measured it with speedfan because coretemp crashes my ps for some reson. my load temps are like 48 degrees. im at 1.39 volts

you are pretty good, I am at 52C - 100% load with TAT at 3.3GHz at 1.40V but I have a video card in my cooling loop so to run cooler on air at around that OC is decent to say the least. There for sure is nothing horribly wrong.

My E4300 was, I had to sand it for 30 minutes with 200 grit paper to get it flat. You are fine, my E4300 goes to 60*C in TAT and it's perfectly stable.
