Temp decrease on 6800nu overclock

Oc'ed to 400 core and 820 memory and my temps went from 60 to 51C. Possible?

pny 6800nu. i was messing around w. 175 fsb in bios and decreased it to 166 for this(no agp/pci lock). But i thought it was still 60C w/ 166fsb. I dont remember

oh I got a hypothesis!

What if your fan on your card decided to get up off its ass and do its job now that your card is clocked higher? Even if that did happen I would not expect the temp to be lower than before, equal or near equal maybe but not lower!
