Hi. I bought some Akasa Amber Ulra Quiet fans (some 120mm and 2 92mm) , so that I could replace the fans of any case that I happened to buy and since they all had 3pins , I could connect them to my Akasa fan controller aswell. The thing is I have now also bought a Silverstone Temjin TJ07 case. It cost alot of money and so it's difficult to figure out if the fans they have used are better than my Akasa's or not. I am having a tough time deciding as to which case fans to use, the stock ones or the Akasa Amber ones. Had I bought a cheap case I wouldn't really need to worry as I could be sure I was upgrading, but since this is such an expensive case, I feel kind of weird about taking of the stock fans as they could be really high qualityand much better than the Akasa ones. Please could someone help me out and give some good advice on what to do in my situation.Which fans should I use? Thanks.

I am a little worried about experimenting this time round. This is the second time I am building my computer, the first time I didn't even get a weeks service before evrything went belly up.Although I could clearly point out the problem as being my old case and one of the motherboard PCIx lanes, I kind of blamed myself for openiing up my system on a daily basis. I would change thing s around, namely the fans etc.

So this time round I promised myself to not mess around with things and just to get all right the first time and then leave it alone. Also it takes me an age to build a computer and since I would have to set everything including windows to really discover the performance of the fans, I would really think twice before changing anything this time.

This is why I was hoping someonce could help me out. If I had more experience in computer building , and didn't mind if something broke, I would experiment, but I just can't allow myself to do that yet, not if all it takes is for someone who knows what hes talking about to tell me which fans I should use. Oh yeah I think I should point out that the Akasa 120mm fnas are skinnier than the stock ones and so don't fit snuggly in the filter at the top, that woon't cause problems will it? Thanks.

Have some patience, the guys here know alot about cases and they will help you out

I do not know the answer to your question but I am pretty sure your case comes with Silverstones top of the line fans so that should help some

I am pretty sure there are rubber mounts available to prevent fan vibration ... you might want to look in to that

Thanks for your reply. Sorry to everyone if it looked like I was being impatient. The last thing I would want to do is peeve of the very people I need help from. ;)

Check the fan's for the model numbers that are in the case. I'm sure their Silverstoneteks own, then check their site for the ratings and do a search for reviews of those fans on the web and compare them to the extra ones you have to make a decision before taking everything apart.
