here are my system specs, and I just dont see any reason to spend a bunch of money to upgrade.. I can but why.. I have had my system for a while... I have a

Gateway 21" widescreen hd Monitor
P4 Prescott 3.0g proc
asus p4p800 mobo
1g corsair 3200 ddr ram running at 400mhz
plextor dvdrw
sb audigy 2 zs..
BGF 6800 GT OC..

i have had the major components of this for a while.. and all the games I play seem to run pretty well I dont run them at 1680 x 1050.. but I do run them at 1280 x 1024 with no noticable lag....

should I wait or upgrade? thanks

You could probaly still get some decent milage out of that system with as something as small as an addition of 1gig memory. I don't see any reason to upgrade just yet if you're happy with performance.

ur rig is fine bro... wait for the next "big" thing

Im with him if your happy with your performance. Wait for the DX10 Cards and the next gen CPUs that come out this summer.

If your rig is running fine then why waste money upgrading now, when you can save the money and once your system is lagging then you can buy the best stuff.

I will wait til the next gen video cards come out to upgrade mb and proc thanks!..

I would wait as well. Unless your computer is driving you nuts you dont need to upgrade until the next batch of must have games comes out
