Any word yet on your chips and theier OC' Ability im sorta in the same boat as a few others and have a p4 pressy board that only b RMA for a bit longer And i want to know if its worth the $20fee to return it and possibly get an A64.
 
Man search around a little. No luck from Spartantech. But Azzo has them as on the H front page. Ordered one along with others overnight.

What' the cpu you want to return clock to anyway??

Yeah the guys at Azzo are really cool, actually use the shit they sell. I remember getting a lot good customer support when the IC7s first hit and were a bitch to get. They came through for me then too.

Took me about 4 reads of that before i got it!!!

I just got the email about backorder till the 20th after for the second time on the phone, that mine will ship.

It would be funny if they were the last store to ever get them. Think i'll just keep my order open that says same day shipping.

Nice to pay for FEDEX next day AM and wait 3 weeks also!!!!

No, silly, its 1254. But I havent been able to pull it up yet on FedEx.com those bastards better not be lying to me.

They also sent me their inventory showing that they have 450 more of the 3.0C's in stock. So hurry up & get 'em while they're HOT!! :) Punn intended... (prescotts-1st revisions = hot)

When you do get your 3.0e be sure to post about how it runs and all, I might grab a 3.0e when they are a bit more available. I want to try for 3.8, I hope the retail chips run a *bit* cooler.

Yikes, I might wait a bit untill the prescott CPU matures a bit. Or I might look into an A64 to play with as a second machine or something.
 
With the results that Ted has, I'm leaning towards getting an A64 to play with too.
 
Well, I dont want to be to quick on assumption, he does only have after all one of the first chips out, and we all know its easy to get a dud so who knows..
 
It may or maynot be a dud, but the prescott seems to be a heater/toaster.
