So this high-tech gadget allows kids to turn any surface into an electric keyboard, sorta. I see this driving a lot of parents crazy if it makes it to market. Maybe they should join forces with that drum table and start a band. Thanks to Edward C. for the linkage.
 
Oh my god, my ears! It would be fine if not for the high pitched tones on the top.
 
How is that high tech? They just put a button in each finger that makes a sound when pressed.
 
A very similiar idea was on "American Inventor". The judges said it wasn't a marketable idea.
 
All right! Now I know what to give my brother's kids. Him and his wife will hate me for this. :p

A lot of those judges are very oppinionated rather than looking at the actual marketability of a product.
 
This thing looks about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
 
Something like this would probably never make it to market, and if it did I'm sure there would be an influx of carpal tunnel lawsuits to follow that would put it right back out.

Besides the fact that it would probably be one of the most annoying things on earth.
 
All I have to say is... Tickle Me Elmo... Anyone remember the Christmas CRAZE of the dreaded elmo? It was so pointless yet every kid wanted (needed) one... This could be the same... *sigh*
