Technology Gone Wrong

Per the article, it's an art piece. Its meant to mock the almost mindless and mechanical nature of our technological dependence, in this case a dating app on the iPhone. It also mocks our need for contact and the irony that we distance ourselves further by using tech meant to get us together in the first place.

As an art piece, its not technology gone wrong. I think it does quite well proving a point. Had this been a prototype product then it might have been dumb as hell.

That site has my VPN's IP blocked. Now that's technology gone wrong.

At first I thought this was a ridiculous pile of crap but then I learned it is ART.

Now I'm moved to tears by it's beauty. :p

The tech the art is mocking is why this is a "technology gone wrong" headline, hence the "Is this what the world has come to?" comments. ;)
I got the second part. It definitely one of those "what has the world come to?" kind of wtf moments.
