As I understand it a LCD picture is made up of many individual pixels. DVI and Analog mode both show the same number of pixels. Why is DVI said to be clearer than Analog?

for analauge it has to be converted from a digital signal to analauge, a normal crt would then be able to interpret this and create the image from there however a tft would then have to convert it back

I suppose I should ask what is the difference in quality between a Digital and an Analog signal??

not very much by the sounds of things, ive compared them on a mates computer but could hardly tell the differance, hence why i went for a 15x by samsung 16ms responce from a 15" tft...afaik its the only one which exists. lack of dvi, but still the sweetest 15" ever...

I had interference ghosting issues in my multi monitor (3) setup before I bought DVI cables. Now it’s perfect and so crisp.
