Maybe not the right forum, but I've got a question about Technet.

If I get a subscription, can you use multiple copies of the software that is downloaded?

For example, I have 4 computers in the house that I'd like to upgrade to Win7 when it comes out. Seems like a one year subscription to Technet would be a lot more cost-effective than buying 4 copies of some version of Win7 at retail. Does it work this way - can I get multiple license keys for a given software package, or is a 1:1 kind of thing?

You can use each key up to 10 time, and they'll pretty much give you as many keys are you ask for.

They catch is that you're only supposed to be using the software for testing.

Ah yes, running into businesses with "2k3 server enterprise" when they have 1 server and 20 computers.

It pains me to let clients know their last guy burned them and how much it'll cost to get legit, (and to get any ethical reputable consultant to help them)

Back on topic.

While technically you can, it does violate the EULA of the license. Technet/MSDN are for learning/testing, not for production/everyday use.
