Tech Workers' Employment Rates Beat the National Average

Good news for the nation’s tech workers: if you are presently employed, your chances of staying that way are twice as good as the national employment average.

Dice has derived another sign of such confidence: how layoffs and firings in the sector are at "the lowest levels on record," an average of 321,000 for the first two months of Q4 2013.

Not really surprising. In my experience, non-techies are generally ignorant, unable to help themselves, have no common sense, and/or generally are very boring people to be around.

Not true entirely. I find the ones with a personality of a shoe are Devs. Thinking they are always right and their code is never wrong along with no sense of humor.

Great! I love my internship/part time job at my local district(while I'm currently still in high school).

Hopefully the opportunity presents itself that there will be a position opened up when I graduate.

I knew years ago that the tech industry would be stable and expanding, glad I'm able to be apart of this field!
