Tech Gone Horribly Wrong

I think its a genius idea.

certainly everyone will diss it because it clearly distracts from self image. However the real world implications of something like this solve major problems man kind is just starting to experience. Food and Water shortages are in the future, simply put there are to many people on the earth for it to sustain for much longer. So when your starving with no food something like this gets put on, bad looks aside at least your no longer hungry.
 
funny I just ordered chlorella and spirulina tablets to try for supplements for pain management. I dont see the point in these tubes when you can take lab grown supplements or powdered alternatives?

There are far better and more realistic solutions. It has nothing to do with self image and everything to do with being a completely retarded idea.

People have been saying there are too many people and there will be food/water shortages for the last several thousand years at least. But things have always happened that increase the food/water outputs to keep up. New types of foods/grains or new tools/inventions. These things happen that make times like the industrial revolution happen that totally changed how food is distributed throughout the world and take care of the food/water trouble of the time.
More people on the planet means more people able to think about new ways to get food/drink. There is always the possibility that everyone in the future will decide that they want to starve and then stop trying to come up with new ideas, but chances are very very slim. ;)
 
Yeah, shortages of resources are never the problem. We always develop technologies to circumvent that. It's the distribution of resources that have always been the problem.
